Automated Pressure-Driven Backwashing

Traditional pool filter maintenance relies on guesswork or rigid manual routines that waste water and electricity. The Aquagem iWash monitors filter tank pressure continuously to execute backwash cycles automatically as media filter loading reaches optimal thresholds. By automating both the backwash duration and rinse cycles based on live pressure readings, media cleanliness is preserved without over-washing.

Full Touchscreen & Mobile App Management

Featuring a glass touchscreen interface, the iWash allows pool owners to initiate a complete backwash and rinse cycle with a single button press. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity links directly to your smartphone, granting access to real-time status updates, custom cycle timers, pressure threshold settings, and system notifications wherever you are.

Engineered Ceramic Internal Construction

Constructed with a ceramic motor rotor and high-durability spider gasket, the iWash resists chemical degradation, pressure surges, and mechanical wear far better than traditional plastic valve components. An integrated photoelectric switch actively monitors valve positioning, automatically pausing the circulation pump during rotation cycles to protect internal seals and prevent hydraulic shock.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the iWash know when to backwash the pool filter?

The iWash continuously monitors operational pressure inside the filter tank. Once pressure rises to your pre-set threshold due to debris accumulation, the valve automatically initiates a full backwash and rinse cycle.

Can I manually trigger a backwash cycle when needed?

Yes. You can start an immediate backwash cycle at any time via a single tap on the glass touchscreen interface or directly through the mobile app.

Is the valve compatible with my existing pool circulation pump?

The iWash features a pump control interlock that coordinates directly with standard pool pumps, though pairing with variable-speed inverter pumps offers the highest water and energy savings.
