The new generation Vaporex CDP dehumidifiers have been designed to blend well with any modern pool interior. Offering energy-efficient and near-silent humidity control, the units were conceived with a view to quality and ease of operation. Combined with highly efficient fans and compressors, the advanced remote control and monitoring options contribute to the cost-efficient operation and significant energy savings.

These Vaporex CDP dehumidifier models also come complete with a conversion kit to ease the installation when replacing an original Vaporex, therefore ideal for the replacement market. Ideal for indoor pool applications including domestic, therapy, health clubs and hotel & spa pools, the Calorex range of non-ducted dehumidifiers, are the only choice when it comes to efficiency, reliability and performance.

Available as either wall mount or through wall models (TTW), for installation outside the pool room. The Calorex range of dehumidifiers also offers air heating via LPHW (low-pressure hot water) or electric resistance heating coils, which are easily then retrospectively fitted to the dehumidifier on site.

Features:

Improved dehumidification capacity (thus lower electrical consumption resulting in lower running costs)
Reduced sound pressure level
User friendly configuration through the PCB display
Floor mounting stand available as optional extra
Remote control of setpoints with visible pool hall conditions
BMS / Home Automation Connection
USB data logging and software update option
Readable evaporator, condenser and ambient temperatures through PCB display
Wireless remote control for changing setpoints included as standard
Modern and elegant design
Optional 230V (ON/OFF) control signal for valve or pump
Conversion kit included to ease the installation when replacing original Vaporex

What are Dehumidifiers?

An indoor swimming pool is a wonderful leisure and exercise environment, but there are many important factors to consider when planning and designing a pool. Even when you cannot see it, moisture in the form of water vapour surrounds us in the air. The humidity in the air, if not controlled, will cause corrosion, mould and bacteria growth.

When left unchecked, moisture damage in swimming pool buildings causes major structural damage. Calorex dehumidifiers cleverly convert the energy locked up in the moisture into heat used to heat the room. The free heat recovered by dehumidification is not only “green”, but it accelerates the drying process, keeps the boiler off for longer, reduces the evaporation from the pool and creates a warm dry environment.

Calorex CDP dehumidifiers are exceptionally efficient, recovering the latent energy that is contained in the moisture and delivering it back to the pool hall in the form of heat. Using a Calorex dehumidifier minimises the need to introduce and heat the cold outdoor air into the pool hall to dehumidify, which can be costly.
